Say it. In 24 hours, it's gone.
Posts, comments, reactions — everything you write is deleted a day later, and so is who you wrote it as. Or say it to one person, in a chat that is written down nowhere at all.
No email, no password. You get a name.
Gone in 16h 48m
Every post and every identity runs on one.
What you can do
Everything a timeline needs. Nothing it keeps.
Posts
280 characters, and up to 4 images, videos or audio clips.
Comments
Answer anyone. A comment goes when the post it is on does.
Reactions
Any emoji, as many as you like, on a post or a comment.
Explore
Search everything still alive. It forgives a typo and takes a phrase.
Live
Posts, comments and reactions land on the page as they happen.
Private chat
Two people, one link, and nothing written down. Not even by us.
Private chat
Talk to one person. We can't read it.
Not “we promise not to”. A chat is encrypted by the two browsers in it, with a key we are never given, and no message is stored anywhere — so there is nothing to hand over, and nothing to read back.
One link, one person
Send it to whoever you want. They ask to join, you see their handle and decide, and the link is spent once someone is in.
Encrypted in your browser
The key comes from the half of the link after the #, which browsers never send us. We pass on what we have no way to open.
Check nobody is between you
Both of you see the same safety number. Read it out loud: if it matches, the conversation is yours alone.
Kept nowhere, gone within a day
Messages pass between the two of you and are stored nowhere, so neither we nor you can read one back. The chat ends within a day, or sooner if whoever started it ends it.
The lifespan of everything
Written, lived, gone.
- 0hYou post, comment or start a chat.
- 24hIt lives. People read, answer and react.
- ExpiryIt's deleted for good. No archive.
A chat is shorter still: it ends within a day like everything else, and what is said in it is never written down in the first place.
Why Twittesia
Twitter + amnesia.
A timeline that forgets. Say what you think today; by tomorrow it has faded, and yesterday's take stays in yesterday.
